At Perpetual, we value new ideas and unique perspectives. Our internship program is very competitive, with hundreds of applicants each year and only a few selected.
These talented students come from top schools like Princeton, Harvard, Columbia, IIT, USC, UPenn, Berkeley, NYU, University of Maryland, RISD, SCAD and more.
Today, we are excited to spotlight three exceptional individuals from our 2026 summer intern program. Join us as we introduce Charlotte, Izzy, and Ruhi, who have embarked on an enriching learning journey during their time at Perpetual.
Ruhi is a sophomore at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering with a minor in Computer Science. She is also a member of the Hoeft Technology & Management (T&M) Program. On campus, Ruhi is involved in OTCR, a premier student-run consulting organization, and serves as a Project Manager with NOBE Consulting. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, dancing, and spending time with friends. She also has an ever-growing list of restaurants to try and firmly believes no meal is complete without dessert.
Q: What's a fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I can fall asleep almost anywhere. I even managed to sleep through the new Spider-Man movie in 4D seats!
Q: What has been the highlight of your internship so far?
The highlight of my internship has been getting to work on projects that directly impact a client website and even helping landing a client! Seeing my work go from a task in Notion to a real change on a site was very rewarding. I also loved getting to know and work with different people across the team. I really enjoyed learning from everyone, hearing about their different roles and experiences, and getting a better understanding of how everyone works together.
Q: What is a tip or skill you learned that you will bring back to school with you?
One skill that I will definitely bring back to school is staying organized while communicating consistently. Seeing how Perpetual uses project management tools like Notion this summer taught me how much easier collaboration becomes when everyone has a clear picture of what is being worked on and where things stand.
Q: What was one of your learnings that you find the most valuable?
Something I found to be most valuable is learning small details can have a much bigger impact than you expect. Whether I was reviewing accessibility issues, cross-checking content, or making a site inventory, I learned how important it is to be thorough and understand how each individual change contributes to the overall user experience.
Q: How do you see this internship contributing to your future goals?
As someone who is interested in healthcare technology, this internship gave me a better understanding of how thoughtful digital experiences are created and maintained. The constant emphasis on accessibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement are core principles I hope to carry into a future career developing technology that is both innovative and inclusive.
Izzy is a rising sophomore at Princeton University, where she is pursuing interests in Computer Science, Economics, and Mathematics. Outside the classroom, she is a dedicated Division I athlete on the Princeton Women’s Crew team as a coxswain and represented Princeton at the NCAA Rowing Championships this past spring. Izzy is also an active member of the Chabad Student Board, where she enjoys contributing to the Princeton community. Izzy was the president of Girls Who Code at her high school and captain of her crew team at the Connecticut Boat Club. Izzy has two sisters, Mishi and Mia Khamish. Her hobbies include reading, running, Bikram yoga, skiing and tennis. She is also a foodie and enjoys exploring the world with her family!
Q: What's a fun fact about you?
During the pandemic, I became a bookworm and read 51 books in one year.
Q: What has been the highlight of your internship so far?
The highlight so far has been working with such amazing people on my team. My mentor, Scott, has been incredible to learn from, and I am very grateful. I have really enjoyed being able to work on a live project that has real deadlines.
Q: What is a tip or skill you learned that you will bring back to school with you?
One skill I have learned is the importance of communication and consistency with the client. Through the discovery, design, and technical processes of a client project, I have learned the importance of balancing what needs to be immediately worked on, and what is most important long-term.
Q: What was one of your learnings that you find the most valuable?
I also had the opportunity to research AI and write articles about the subject. I learned many things about how neural networks, LLMs, MCP, and more work, how they relate to one another, and how they push innovation forward. I also got to take a look at what major AI companies (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google DeepMind, etc.) are currently working on, as well as recent updates and trends. I found all of this to be extremely valuable in advancing my personal intellectual understanding.
Q: How do you see this internship contributing to your future goals?
This internship has taught me a lot about producing quality work and how to have consistent communication with clients in order to deliver the optimal product while appealing to internal demands.
Charlotte is a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), studying Social Strategy and Management with minors in Business Management and Entrepreneurship and Advertising Art Direction. She is also a member of SCAD’s SOCL Club. Outside of school and work, Charlotte loves supporting her friends’ creative projects, whether behind the camera as a photographer or helping with creative direction and styling. In her free time, she enjoys photography, fashion, reading, and cooking with family and friends.
Q: What's a fun fact about you?
I have four passports — American, British, Irish, and Italian!
Q: What has been the highlight of your internship so far?
The highlight of my internship has been how much I’ve been able to learn through the different projects I’ve worked on. I’ve also really enjoyed being part of such a collaborative team, especially working with my mentor, Will, who has taught me a lot about B2B social media and marketing.
Q: What is a tip or skill you learned that you will bring back to school with you?
I’ve gained experience in areas I hadn’t worked in before, including QA, Webflow, case study design, and B2B social media. I’ve also learned a lot from collaborating with people across different disciplines and seeing how their skills and perspectives contribute to a project.
Q: What was one of your learnings that you find the most valuable?
One of my biggest takeaways has been learning how to balance multiple projects at once while staying organized and focused. I’ve also gained a better understanding of UX/UI design, which has changed the way I think about the social media and marketing work I create.
Q: How do you see this internship contributing to your future goals?
Most of my previous social media experience has focused on B2C work, so this internship introduced me to a different side of the industry. Working on B2B social media and marketing has shown me that it’s an area I’d like to explore more in my future career.
