Office Manager and Administrative Assistant

The Office Manager and Admin Assistant will oversee the general administrative function and activities of the office.

About You

Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily work activities of the office in-person at Perpetual's NYC office

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Will assist with daily and weekly company events ie organizing standup meetings, weekly team in-person and remote hangouts, and monthly company meetings
  • Will order supplies and snacks for the office as needed
  • Performs or facilitates maintenance of office equipment including supervising of maintenance, repairs and cleaning.
  • Provides clerical support when needed to assist clerical staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.
  • Oversees petty cash fund
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies; orders new supplies as needed.
  • Maintains office files; implements an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of administrative and clerical experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
