CFS is a predictive analytics platform for commercial real estate professionals seeking to identify risk before it becomes visible in the market. Using AI and machine learning, CFS helps owners, investors, lenders, and retail real estate stakeholders evaluate tenant risk, lease durability, closure probability, and property-level decision opportunities.
CFS partnered with Perpetual to transform its analytical intelligence into a validated SaaS product vision. The goal was to move beyond a static reporting experience and create a high-fidelity concept that could make the platform’s value easier to understand, test, and communicate ahead of a crucial industry conference, where CFS planned to share the prototype with potential customers and stakeholders.

The project resulted in a validated, high-fidelity product concept that translated CFS’s advanced risk assessment capabilities into a more intuitive SaaS experience. Complex analytics were reframed into clearer dashboards, risk signals, recommendations, and reporting moments, helping users better understand portfolio performance and property-level opportunities.
Perpetual was incredibly responsive, which was the most important thing to us. They were on budget and met deadlines early. We had almost daily check-in meetings where they updated us and told us what they needed from us.
For CFS, we used an accelerated concept-to-validation process designed to move quickly without sacrificing strategic clarity. We began by aligning on the product vision, business objectives, user needs, and competitive context, then used stakeholder conversations, persona development, and UX analysis to identify the workflows that mattered most.
From there, we translated the product strategy into journey maps, user flows, information architecture, and wireframes that clarified how the future platform could work. As the design progressed, we established a visual and component foundation inspired by CFS’s brand, creating reusable interface patterns that could support dashboards, data views, recommendations, and reporting moments across the experience.
The final concept created a strong bridge between strategy and development, giving CFS a clearer product narrative, a more polished interface direction, and a foundation for the next phase of the SaaS platform.
The research phase focused on understanding CFS’s product vision, user needs, market context, and growth objectives. Stakeholder conversations, competitive review, persona development, and UX analysis helped clarify how the platform could turn advanced risk intelligence into a more usable and differentiated product experience.

The design phase focused on turning advanced analytics into a product experience that felt clear, credible, and ownable to CFS. We incorporated the brand into the interface system while using journey maps, user flows, information architecture, and wireframes to define how users would move through the platform.
From there, we created reusable patterns for dashboards, data views, recommendations, reporting flows, and data visualization. These patterns helped organize complex risk intelligence into a more intuitive SaaS experience while creating a foundation that could scale quickly across additional pages and use cases.

The prototype helped CFS move from product ambition to product validation. By connecting key screens, workflows, and interaction patterns, the experience gave stakeholders a tangible way to evaluate the platform direction, understand the user journey, and align around what a future build could become.

The project helped CFS turn a complex analytical model into a clearer, more compelling SaaS product vision. By translating risk intelligence into an intuitive product experience, the work strengthened CFS’s ability to communicate value to stakeholders, prospects, partners, and potential investors.
The final design direction established a scalable foundation for future development while giving CFS a polished, conference-ready concept for external conversations and audience demos. It clarified the platform’s core workflows, elevated the product narrative, and positioned CFS to move forward with a more confident, market-ready SaaS vision.
